From the Producer

My name is P.D. and I am a father of two boys.  I grew up never knowing my own father so I have taken on the challenge to be the best father I can be regardless of my lack of example.  I created The DaddyCast to share my thoughts, ideas and results of research as well as to create a community for dads and parents to share their experiences.

I have been podcasting since July 2005, starting with LoveHouse Radio.  At that time, LoveHouse Radio was both a music podcast as well as my reporting of what the kids were doing primarily to chronicle their young lives and to share events with my mother who lived in Nashville at the time.  Based on some advice from a friend through Podcasting, I spun off The DaddyCast to create a show dedicated to family topics.

My goal with The DaddyCast is to create a show for parents to learn and share.  That means user interaction is a big help in that goal so I encourage you to listen, call in (804-SOS-LATE), email (DaddyCast@gmail.com) or respond via any means to contribute to the process of being better (and more sane) parents to our kids.

The DaddyCast

P.D. Love grew up without knowing his own father. Now a father himself to two sons, he’s taken on the challenge to be the very best father that he can be. He created The DaddyCast as a forum to share his own thoughts, ideas and results of research, and also to encourage others to chime in, creating a community for dads (and moms too) to contribute their own ideas and experiences for the good of all. The goal of the DaddyCast is to help us all become better, more effective (and more sane) parents.


"All of us" is better than any of us, and the program is an opportunity for dedicated parents to learn and share, so listener interaction is highly encouraged.
